KNIFEATURE(C) - nothin' but knife

Knifeatures are a series within my Impasto Improv practice. A palette-knife portrait where exaggeration is expressed through colour, texture, and gesture rather than merely facial distortion. The likeness remains realistic; the caricature emerges through the physicality and energy of the paint. This is not a caricature of the face, but of the feeling. Where traditional caricature exaggerates form, Knifeatures exaggerate energy — a painterly, contemporary evolution of caricature.
